The Student-Alumni Career Networking Events are a series of three events with a panel of international UvA alumni. They share their experiences in pursuing a career in the Netherlands after graduation, and also discuss all kinds of recent developments. All international UvA students considering a career in The Netherlands are invited to participate in the events. So, come and find out.

We will scan your registration on every session so have your phone ready. Some sessions have a limited amount of places, so we operate by the "first come, first served" principle.

Humanities, Behavioural Sciences and Creative Industries
Are you interested in pursuing a career in humanities, behavioral sciences or creative industries? At this Student-Alumni Career Networking Event, you can meet with UvA-alumni that have built a career in these fields in The Netherlands. They will share their experiences with finding a suitable position, which hurdles they had to take to get to where they are now and advise you on steps to take after you finish your studies in this field.
Research and PhD
On this session another couple of young alumni will tell you about their paths, choices they had to make and how they succeeded in the research and academic world.
They are all more than happy to share their experiences with you. So come and listen and even talk with them.
