About the Talk

Are you looking for an exciting career or traineeship? Then look no further, because there are plenty of options within the European Union. During this workshop, you will get to know everything about your opportunities at the EU. Rosa and Pim will tell about their experiences as EU-trainees and afterwards will answer all your questions. Furthermore, Luca and Abe will elaborate on your opportunities and explain the selection procedure. Are you interested in a future at the European Union and want to know more about your possibilities? Then this workshop on EU careers is exactly what you are looking for.  

About the EU ambassadors 

Luca Stegenga and Abe van Kampen are the EU Career Ambassadors for the UvA, and will help you with finding your way to a possible career at the European Union.  

Linde Rozemeijer has a master's degree in African Studies and is a former Blue Book trainee. As a Blue Book Trainee Linde worked at the Directorate-General for International Partnerships with her areas of expertise being Zimbabwe and Botswana. During this time she assisted in the programming phase of the Multiannual Financial Framework and the Team Europe Iniatives.

Rosa Stienstra is a master student in International Relations and Diplomacy and a former EU-trainee. Rosa worked on the team of Samira Rafaela, Member of the European Parliament, and assisted with preparatory work and other political tasks. Furthermore, she also organized a Youth Tour where Samira Rafaela met with young people from the Netherlands. 

Pim ten Thije holds a LLM in Information Law from the UvA and is a former EU-trainee. Pim worked as a trainee at the Secretariat to the Internal Market and Consumer Protection. His responsibilities included files, such as the Digital Services Act and Digital Markets proposal and Regulation on Terrorist Content Online.
