About the workshop
"Design is not just what it looks like, it’s how it works” - Steve Jobs

Design is becoming a more and more important part of projects. Design does not only make your idea or solution look nice, it also enables you to test your idea in an early phase and learn more about the actual problem, the end-users of your solution and the possible flaws. Design Thinking is a very popular way of thinking, that enables you to generate ideas that really solve the problem and are useful to the end-user, while prototyping and testing rather quickly, for valuable results and feedback. In this hands-on workshop we want you to experience the Design Thinking mindset for yourself. Together we’ll go from problem to functioning solution in this 2 hours workshop. There are limited spots, since we would like to give every one of you our full attention.

About YoungCoders
Companies probably got it all right. Attractive fringe benefits, a flashy recruitment campaign and warm contacts at colleges and universities. Yet many IT vacancies remain unfilled. That is not surprising, because there are more than twice as many IT vacancies than there are IT graduates. That is the reason why we help young talents to become world class coders! We do this by following the principles of 5 steps to continuous innovation where Design Thinking is the first step. Everyone can learn to code. If you are interested in what it will bring you when you develop your IT skills, join this workshop for starters.
