Giovana Fleck

Name: Philip Chemayel
Study:
Research Master Media studies, Bachelor Media & Information
Current Position:
Producer & Researcher – Plokta Film Festival, Freelance filmmaker, Head of Board – Leštnice and Head of Board – Špejchar
Advice:
Don’t be afraid to start doing something that would normally need an established organisation to make it happen. Do that even on your own, but always think of people that can support you or join you in the work. Once you share your enthusiasm, you will see how many ways are opened to you and how pleasant it can be to start organising something from your own initiative, especially in The Netherlands where innovation is much cherished.

Name: Marion Mollet
Study:
Master Political Communication, Bachelor International relations in Geneva
Current Position:
communication Officer for the program Walking the Talk at an NGO called Hivos
Advice:
Start building your network early on and learn (at least some) Dutch.

Name: Zeya Wei
Study:
BSc Economics and Business Economics
Current Position:
HR Systems Officer, Médecins Sans Frontières. I help HR to work better with their robots, so they can send out people to save lives.
Advice:
Take your time, life is long enough to fail one course or two. With the time, however, try every minute to search for opportunities, approach the topic and people to know what they do, and build any experience that looks a bit like the path. You will soon be surprised because the thing is walking to you.

Name: Antonia Mednansky

Advice:
Network, be pro-active and reach out to organisations you would like to work for and ask for an introduction talk, and learn some basic Dutch. Most importantly, take your time and be open for different opportunities - believe in serendipity!
