About the workshop

Did you know employers often look at your CV, before they read your cover letter? In this online information session, you’ll be introduced to composing a CV that allows you to present your experience and qualities authentically. You’ll form an idea of what employers focus on to decide if you are a fit. Also, you’ll get tips and advice to enable you to showcase your capacities. That will give you a bigger chance that the employer will invite you for an interview.

In the last hour of the FMG Career Event, there'll be a panel discussion about career paths and career perspectives with:

Jesper van Thor MSc. Former recruiter and now researcher at Statistics Netherlands (CBS), with all up to date figures on the employment situation of academics, occupations and job satisfaction rates.

About the workshop
The main goal of data visualization is to make large amounts of data easy to comprehend. Good data visualization will help users to view both simple and complex datasets at a glance and see abnormalities, dependencies and trends that would not have been apparent in tables. In this training, we are going to delve into the basics of data visualization, identify common pitfalls and explore ways around them.

The Future of Banking

In this session we will look back the banking industry in the last 10 – 20 years and see how banking has evolved over the past period. Then we will look at the current challenges banks face in the current economical climate and lastly we will try to predict the future for the banking industry, with no guarantees of course on this prediction as the Banking Industry remains very dynamic and volatile.
